The polyurethane sandwich panel is also known as PU panel and polyurethane composite panel, which conforms to the national standard GB/T 23932-2009,. Polyurethane sandwich panel is a composite material used as thermal insulation layer, including single metal layer, double metal layer and non-metallic layer. It is widely used in the protection system of logistics warehouse, factory building, roof and the wall of integrated house. This article mainly introduces the high fire resistance index of polyurethane sandwich panels.
Brief introduction of polyurethane sandwich panel
The polyurethane sandwich panel adopts an advanced continuous production line of sandwich panels. The interior and exterior are coated with aluminum, zinc and color steel plates, and the middle is coated with polyurethane rigid foam. Finally, it is formed by cooling and solidification. The roof panel with anti leakage sandwich can bring the advantages of the polyurethane sandwich panel to the extreme. For example, the thermal insulation performance of the polyurethane sandwich panel is excellent because of its small thermal conductivity, strong thermal insulation and excellent fire resistance. Not only that, it has a beautiful appearance and is very convenient to install. It is non-toxic and tasteless, and it is harmless to human beings. It is one of the first choices for roofing and wall materials in factories, warehouses and other places where goods are stacked.
Fire rating and performance of polyurethane sandwich panel
The fire protection rating of polyurethane sandwich panels has reached the national standard B1, and the fire protection performance is excellent. Why? The reasons are as follows:
(1) The thermal conductivity of polyurethane is relatively low. When the density of rigid polyurethane is 35-40kg/m3, the thermal conductivity of polyurethane is only 0.018-0.024/(m.k), which is the lowest among the insulation materials that have been developed at present, only half of EPS. In addition, polyurethane has good waterproof and moisture resistance properties. Polyurethane is a hydrophobic material with a closed porosity of more than 90%. Therefore, polyurethane will not increase the thermal conductivity due to water absorption, and the wall will not leak;
(2) Polyurethane is a self extinguishing material, which is difficult to burn after adding flame retardant. Polyurethane will decompose only at high temperature, and its softening point is higher than 250 ℃;
(3) When burning, polyurethane will produce carbon, which will accumulate on its foam surface, helping to isolate oxygen from the underlying foam and prevent the spread of fire. In addition, polyurethane will not produce harmful gases at high temperatures, which is harmless to human health;
(4) Because polyurethane has excellent fire resistance, it can reduce the thickness of the wall, thus increasing the available indoor area;
(5) The porosity and structure of polyurethane are relatively stable, not easy to crack, and it has strong safety. Its service life is also higher than that of other thermal insulation materials, and its comprehensive cost performance is relatively high.
