Quick-assembly container, fully known as quick-assembly container house, is a modular temporary building with a light steel structure as the core framework, matched with fireproof and thermal insulation composite panels as walls and roofs. Compared with traditional packaged houses, its biggest feature is "faster assembly" - all components are produced in a standardized way in factories. After being transported to the site, no complex machinery is needed, and assembly can be completed only by manually splicing bolts. A single person can complete the construction of the basic module within half a day, which greatly shortens the construction period and is a typical representative of the "ready-to-use" concept in the temporary building field.

The component design of quick-assembly containers follows the principle of "lightweight and easy splicing". The main framework adopts snap-on or bolted connections, without welding work. Taking a common 20-foot standard quick-assembly container (about 18 square meters) as an example, a 2-3-person team can complete the overall assembly in only 1 day, including wall splicing, roof installation and door and window debugging. If a temporary building of the same area is built with a traditional brick-concrete structure, it takes at least 5-7 days and requires professional construction personnel. The quick-assembly container has a particularly prominent advantage in efficiency, while greatly reducing the labor input cost.

The steel structure framework of high-quality quick-assembly containers is hot-dip galvanized, which has strong corrosion resistance and a service life of 10-15 years. The wall composite panels adopt a combination of "rock wool + color steel plate" or "glass wool + color steel plate", which have Class A fire resistance, and at the same time, the sound insulation volume is more than 40 decibels, with excellent thermal insulation effect (the indoor temperature in winter can be 8-12℃ higher than the outdoor temperature). In addition, its overall structure can resist level 8 gales and level 6 earthquakes. Quick-assembly containers support modular combination. A single standard container can be used as an office, dormitory or warehouse. Multiple containers can be combined into large project departments, employee dormitory buildings, temporary teaching buildings, etc. through horizontal splicing (which can be extended to any length) and vertical stacking (up to 3 floors). At the same time, it can customize the internal layout according to user needs, such as adding partitions, air conditioners, water and electricity interfaces, etc. After the project is completed, the quick-assembly container can be completely disassembled, with no loss of components. After being transported to a new site, it can be reassembled and used again. The reuse rate is over 95%, which not only reduces resource waste but also lowers the cost of secondary construction.

The material cost of quick-assembly containers is lower than that of traditional temporary buildings (about 50%-60% of that of brick-concrete temporary buildings), and there is no need for large-scale construction equipment rental fees. The assembly process does not require professional technical workers, and ordinary laborers can operate after simple training, further reducing labor costs. In addition, its later maintenance is simple, only surface dust needs to be cleaned daily, and parts can be replaced individually after damage, without overall renovation. The long-term use cost is far lower than that of other types of temporary buildings.

With the advantages of high efficiency, flexibility and low cost, quick-assembly containers are widely used in many fields. In the field of engineering construction, it is the first choice for construction site project departments, workers' dormitories and material warehouses, and can quickly meet the temporary living and office needs of construction teams. In the field of emergency support, in case of emergencies such as earthquakes, floods and epidemics, it can be built into temporary resettlement houses, medical isolation points and material distribution stations within 24 hours to provide timely support for disaster relief work.
