Storage specifications for exterior wall panels
To ensure that the quality of exterior wall panels is intact during storage and to avoid damage, contamination or deformation, please strictly comply with the following storage requirements:
Site selection and requirements:
The storage site must be solid, flat, stable, reliable, clean, free of debris and well ventilated.
Preferably, stacking should be done in a location close to the exterior wall panel installation area to minimize secondary long-distance transportation.
Keep away from exposed steel or other rust-prone materials stored in the open air to prevent the rust from falling and adhering to the surface of the exterior wall panels. Such pollutants are extremely difficult to remove and may cause rust spots on the surface of the panels or even penetration and erosion.
Stacking method:
Use skids to adjust the height for stacking, ensuring that the exterior wall panels form an overall tilt angle of 2°~5° after stacking. This slope design facilitates the natural drainage of water between panels to avoid water retention.
The stacking height of each stack shall not exceed two layers (or two boxes).
It is strictly forbidden to place heavy objects or step on the stacked exterior wall panels to prevent damage to the surface coating or even the steel panels themselves.

Environmental protection:
When storing outdoors, the stack must be completely and tightly covered with waterproof cloth to effectively isolate rain and snow.
For exterior wall panels with rock wool or glass wool as the core material, the exposed core material parts at the ends must take enhanced protection measures (such as adding end caps, sealing strips or additional covering) to prevent rainwater from invading and causing the core material to be damaged by moisture.
Handling:
Bundles of exterior wall panels cannot be directly hoisted by forming a triangular structure between the hook and the exterior wall panel. The lifting equipment and boom provided by the project must be used to hang the sling vertically between the exterior wall panel and the hanger. The balance point should be found after hoisting. For single-bundle cranes, be careful to operate and never drag the exterior wall panels.

Exterior wall panel handling and hoisting operation specifications:
To ensure that the exterior wall panels are intact during handling and hoisting, and to avoid deformation, surface damage or core material damage, please strictly comply with the following operating requirements:
Personal protection:
Protective gloves and goggles must be worn when performing any manual handling operations.
Manual handling:
A single exterior wall panel needs to be handled by 3 to 5 people according to its length to disperse the force and prevent the panel from deforming.
During the handling process, the exterior wall panel must be kept horizontal, and any form of bending is strictly prohibited to avoid core material breakage and permanent deformation of the inner and outer steel plates.
It is strictly prohibited to lift the panel using the panel interface (tongue and groove) as the force point to prevent interface damage.
During handling, avoid dragging and friction between the exterior wall panel and the ground or other surfaces, and it is also prohibited to pull the panels against each other to protect the surface coating.
Mechanical lifting: It is prohibited to directly lift by forming a triangular bag between the hook and the bundle of exterior wall panels.
Special lifting equipment (such as cranes, lifting beams) and lifting tools (such as slings and slings) equipped for this project must be used.
Lifting method: Pass the sling/sling vertically through the gap between the bundles of panels, and ensure that the lifting point is located at the appropriate position at both ends of the panel.
Balance control: After lifting off the ground, it is necessary to pause and adjust the position of the sling to confirm that the balance point is found and ensure that the plate remains stable before continuing to lift.
Operation requirements: The lifting process must be stable and cautious. It is strictly forbidden to drag or swing the exterior wall panels in the air.
