Steel Structure Welding Technology
Steel structure welding sequence and process parameters of typical joints:
(1) The earless plate on the upper and lower column shall be cut off by two welders when both sides are symmetrically welded to 1/3 of the thickness of the plate.
(2) Then Two welders shall weld symmetrically on the side of the cut ear plate to 1/3 of the thickness of the plate.
(3) Two welders shall undertake the welding of the adjacent two sides respectively.
(4) The joints of the weld passage between each two layers should be staggered, and the joint of the weld passage welded by two welders should also be staggered each layer, and the temperature between layers should be detected during the welding process.
(5) Steel structure welding technology process parameters:
CO2 gas protection welding: wire diameter Φ1.2mm, current 280 ~ 320A, welding speed 350 ~ 450mm/min
Length of welding wire: about 20mm, gas flow 25 ~ 80L/min,The voltage is 29 ~ 34V, and the interlayer temperature is 120 ~ 150℃
Steel structure welding technology : column - beam, beam - beam joint
(1) Weld the lower flange of the beam firstly, and flange welds on both sides of the beam web shall be welded symmetrically.
(2) After the lower flange is welded, weld the upper flange.
(3) If thickness of the flange plate is greater than 30mm, the upper and lower flange should be welded alternately.
(4) Welding parameter:
CO2 gas shielded welding:
Diameter of welding wire: φ1.2mm
Electric current: 280 ~ 360A
Welding speed: 300 ~ 500mm/min
The length of the welding wire is about 20 mm
Gas flow rate: 20 ~ 80L/mm
Voltage:30 ~ 38V
Interpass temperature:120 ~ 150℃
